About Independent School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) not-for-profit organization that partners with Los Angeles location independent schools to produce paths for underrepresented pupils and households of color to accessibility, browse, and thrive secretive education and learning. Independent institutions do not accurately represent the general Los Angeles population, where over 70% of residents are people of color. With our Axis mates, we sustain trainees and educators of color as they access exclusive education and learning possibilities with our continuous support. We also collaborate with Partner Schools throughout L.A. to make a long-term and transformative impact on their diversity, equity, incorporation, and accountability (DEIA) practices. By holding schools responsible for exactly how they come close to and address DEIA, we can attain better learning end results for all students while likewise preparing them to end up being multiculturally skilled people.
